About Neeti Mohan
Delhi native Neeti Mohan is a vocalist who has enjoyed success in Bollywood and on both sides of the judges’ table on Indian TV singing competitions. ∙ In 2003, after Mohan was named one of the winners on the TV show Popstars, she became a member of Aasma, the vocal group composed of that season’s other winning contestants. ∙ Her Bollywood debut—the playback song “Ishq Wala Love” from 2012’s Student of the Year—won her the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. ∙ The Times of India named “Tune Maari Entriyaan”—her collaboration with Bappi Lahiri, KK, and Vishal Dadlani—the No. 8 song of 2014. ∙ After singing such A. R. Rahman songs as 2012’s “Jiya Re” and 2014’s “Mersalaayitten,” she participated in the film-scoring legend’s one-off greatest-hits concert at London’s O2 arena. ∙ From 2016 to 2017, Mohan was a coach on two singing-competition TV shows: The Voice India Kids and The Voice India. ∙ She participated in the 2020 single “Shine Your Light (Song By Refugees),” a collaboration with the United Nations that showcased the talents of 24 young refugee musicians living in India.
