Led by their titular vocalist, the group's radio-friendly sound draws on everything from bluegrass, to reggae, Southern rock, and Caribbean music, appealing to country fans and jam band hippies alike. This impressive clash of styles makes their sound hard to pigeonhole, with the band equally at home reflecting on divorce and break-ups as they are celebrating island life.
