YoungBloodz Essentials

Alongside OutKast, YoungBloodZ helped put Atlanta on the hip-hop map with their 1999 debut album, Against Da Grain, on LaFace Records. Leaning heavily on Southern drawls and catchy hooks, Jeffrey Ray "J-Bo" Grigsby and "Sean P" Joseph turned crunk beats and party-ready lyrics into a string of regional anthems, including a GRAMMY®-nominated Top 10 hit produced by Lil Jon. Their releases slowed after 2005, but they've remained a steady presence on the radio thanks to frequent collaborations with artists like Kelly Rowland, 112, and Too $hort.
