Tyler Hubbard Essentials

Tyler Hubbard Essentials

Tyler Hubbard first etched himself indelibly into the public consciousness as half of Florida Georgia Line, popping open a trunkload of hooks on the 2012 blockbuster “Cruise,” the roll-your-windows-down country-pop anthem not only of that summer but every summer since. After FGL went on hiatus in 2022, Hubbard started stretching his solo wings. Whether he’s inducing fond memories of ’70s pop on “Back Then Right Now” or ’80s rock on “Wish You Would,” he takes the same open-ended approach as in his duo days, freely mixing country with hip-hop, R&B, and anything else that makes you want to leap up and wave your arms in the air when the chorus comes around.
