Third Eye Blind Essentials

Grunge may have defined the front half of the ‘90s, but by 1997, Third Eye Blind's seamless blur of alt-rock and classic power pop captivated the charts, paving the way for fellow era-defining acts like Fastball and Lit. The San Francisco band's self-titled debut spawned three Top 10 singles and moved more than six million copies in America alone, setting the stage for 1999's platinum follow-up, Blue. Stephan Jenkins and company continue to record occasionally and tour on the regular, including a massive co-headline outing with Dashboard Confessional in 2015.
