The Tannahill Weavers Essentials

Scotland's Tannahill Weavers have been performing nonstop since starting out in 1968. Their signature mix of Scottish highland pipes, flute, whistle, fiddle, and guitar has been copied, but never bested. Along with their instrumental arsenal, Roy Gullane's vocals complete the Tannahill sound, paired with symbiotic harmonies by Phil Smillie. The band play both traditional and contemporary material with a rock 'n' roll intensity. The Tannies, as fans know them, are still on the road, taking the sound of Scotland to the world.
