Lex Luger: The Producers

Lex Luger: The Producers

Few producers have ever affected hip-hop as quickly and undeniably as Lexus Lewis, who was just 19 when “B.M.F.” by Rick Ross and “Hard In Da Paint” by Waka Flocka Flame made his hammering synths and chaotic splatter of hi-hats the new sound of the South. He soon diversified with more laidback beats like Wale's slow jam “That Way,” but Lex Luger's signature sound remains ominous and propulsive.
