The Kills Essentials

The Kills Essentials

The Kills' approach to music is about as straightforward as it gets. Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince's stripped-down, drum-machine-driven garage rock quickly made its mark on the indie world with 2002's Keep on Your Mean Side. Adding an edge to the boy-girl dynamic in their minimalist songwriting on subsequent LPs like 2005's No Wow, The Kills have progressively changed gears while wearing their influences on their sleeves, finding new and ever-noisier ways to say more with less.
