The Corrs Essentials

Folk-inspired pop is a genre unto itself these days, but back in the mid-'90s, The Corrs blazed a trail through these diverse musical traditions. Their debut album, 1995's angsty, Celtic-inspired Forgiven, Not Forgotten, took its cues from their countrymen The Cranberries, but by 1997's Talk On Corners, they amped up the slick pop production inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, whose classic "Dreams" they covered to phenomenal success. The Corrs peaked once more with 2000's In Blue, but returned to their folk roots on 2004's Borrowed Heaven and 2005's Home, their final record.
