Super Cat Essentials

Super Cat's distinctive voice and nimble singing style have made him one of dancehall's most popular artists. He came on the scene in Jamaica in the '80s through various soundsystems and ultimately became an in-demand dancehall artist in the United States as well. His 1992 album Don Dada was one of the first dancehall records released by a major label, and he later went on to toast on Sugar Ray's smash hit “Fly." Throughout his successful career, Super Cat has remained true to his dancehall roots.
