Since 2010, the Trinidadian producer Ras Jammy and the Jamaican instrumentalist Addis Pablo have been on a mission to revitalize the rich traditions of dub reggae. As the son of dub legend Augustus Pablo, Addis was born into deep riddim, and it shows in the duo's authenticity. They engage elements of dubstep and digi-dub, but the overall mood is organic and intensely local.
