In June 2018, forró hero Solange Almeida released her second solo album, titled Entre Nós, Minha História—Portuguese for “between us, my story”. It was a fitting title for a singer with a love for intimate storytelling and quite a tale to tell. Since leaving Brazilian giants Aviões do Forró after 14 years in 2016, Almeida has begun flexing her creative muscles in areas outside her musical comfort zone to equally enormous acclaim: club-ready MC WM collab “Aposta” was a rap curveball, while the lightning-in-a-bottle fire of “Revoltada” shows her pop energy hasn't waned in the slightest.
