Shania Twain says the energy of her Queen of Me Tour is simple: “It’s a party! We’re celebrating ourselves. We’re celebrating together.” The show will primarily feature songs from her empowering sixth album Queen of Me, which explores her experiences with motherhood, marriage, and a life-threatening illness. Through it all, Twain has turned trauma into triumph, and now she just wants to let loose. “Queen of Me was a celebratory album, so I’m lucky to have a whole collection of songs that make me feel really good,” she says. “Live shows are about connection—between me and the fans, and fans and other fans. We’re all strangers in love with the same moment in time, dancing and forgetting about anything else for a while.”
