Sara Groves Essentials

One of the more outspoken songwriters in the Christian music world, Sara Groves is known for her thought-provoking lyrics. She tackles hard topics like Rwanda's genocide and human trafficking, along with personal issues like her own struggles with stage fright. She's collaborated over the years with other notable performers including the bands Jars of Clay and Sixpence None the Richer; she's also spearheaded charity efforts, such as collecting supplies for Hurricane Katrina relief. In 2007 she and her husband opened Art House North, a thriving performance space in St. Paul, Minnesota.
