Sisters Barbie and Dee Hsu became famous TV presenters and actresses in Taiwan, but back in the mid-‘90s, they were known as Big S and Little S of the pop duo S.O.S (Sisters of Shu). Despite their young ages at the time, their songs as S.O.S have a mature feeling, with the sisters singing ear-soothing melodies over laidback instrumental tracks inspired by jazz, funk, and swing. Even their later tracks, which incorporate techno and electronic dance beats, retain their calm, easygoing vibe.
