Having amassed a catalog of pop songs since his 1991 LP Grand Opera Lane, Sexsmith counts an impressive cadre of stars—like Feist and Nick Lowe—as fans who have paid tribute to his songwriting by recording covers. 2002's orchestral Cobblestone Runway included a collaboration with Chris Martin, and while it didn't launch Sexsmith to stardom, the singer/songwriter has continued to release rewarding LPs on a regular basis.
