Robyn Hitchcock is a ‘60s pop devotee with a psychedelic imagination. His songs fizz with rusty blade guitars, as on “All I Wanna Do Is Fall In Love,” and pure Beatles harmonies on “Human Music.” Vocally, he's all folky rasp, singing dreamlike phrases that capture both Syd Barrett's childlike glee and Bob Dylan's righteous sense of the absurd, as on “Sandra's Having Her Brain Out.”
