But Moroccan-Dutch DJ Fadil El Ghoul is no one-trick pony, and in 2016, he started moving away from his signature psytrance-influenced festival bangers to embrace melodic pop, with spectacular results. He's now a sought-after remix artist; a hard-touring, prolific DJ and producer; and an app developer (!) with an independent streak. And now that he runs his own label, R3HAB says he can release songs faster, while he's still excited about them.
