Pxndx Essentials

Formed in 1996, the fresh-faced quartet originally known as Panda was part of the Monterrey scene's hardcore-leaning "new direction." After adjusting their sound to a more pop-oriented mode, hewing closely to the example set by U.S. emo outfits like My Chemical Romance, they delivered a hit with their third album, 2005's Para Ti con Desprecio (For You with Scorn). Pxndx returned to their hardcore origins on 2012's Bonanza, where they kept their energetic world-weariness intact.
