It was the first of numerous successes for Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, who would eventually sell more than 50 million albums, have more than 40 hit singles to their name, and become three-time Brit Award winners and six-time GRAMMY® nominees. In 1999 they became The Guinness Book of Records' most successful duo in U.K. music history.
