Phil Keaggy Essentials

A founding member of the Youngstown, Ohio–based rock trio Glass Harp, Phil Keaggy quickly became known as a virtuoso of the electric guitar. He converted to Christianity in 1970 and began recording contemporary Christian rock albums that were extremely well-received. In 1978, Keaggy released The Master and the Musician, a double album exploring meditative acoustic sounds and light jazz. Throughout his career, he has returned to rock trios on occasion, while continuing to explore world music, acoustic compositions, and various other musical forms.
