Editors’ Notes Paul Woolford’s extensive dance credentials come from years of spinning records for ecstatic dance floors. A product of the first UK techno era in the early ‘90s, he started out as a club DJ in his native Leeds, working his way up super-club residencies and forming the techno duo Wackdaddies. His first solo tracks, some released under his alter-ego Bobby Peru, hit the racks in the early 2000s and were blessed with pugnacious stabs of bass and house piano. Since then, he’s carved a reputation for delivering punchy and striking original tracks, slick cowrites with big names like Diplo, and colossal remixes that encompass house, jungle, and pop.
