Parker McCollum Essentials

Born in 1992 in Conroe, TX, Parker McCollum combines the scrappy spirit of insurgent country with elements of soul, the blues, and indie rock, then adds a touch of Texas red dirt to the mix. McCollum began pursuing music as a child, branching out to rock in his teenage years. When he moved to Austin for college, he got serious about his singer-songwriter career and released his first EP, A Red Town View, in 2013. After releasing two independent albums and inking a publishing deal, McCollum signed to MCA Nashville as an artist, and his major-label debut, Gold Chain Cowboy, came out in 2021. That album was hailed for its strong songwriting, as on the breakup tune “To Be Loved By You,” and he won Best New Artist at the 2022 ACM Awards. In 2023, Never Enough showcased his arena-ready rocker side.
