P.O.D. Essentials

A Christian band doing rap-infused metal with touches of reggae, P.O.D. (Payable On Death) stand apart from the nu-metal crowd. The San Diego band refined its sound for nearly a decade and released two indie albums before finding multi-platinum success, and played Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest tour in 2000. The 2001 album Satellite spawned three radio hits and was embraced by the same audience that took Linkin Park and Korn to the top of the charts. 2012's Murdered Love continued their blend of positive message and hard-charging music.
