Metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has blazed a path through hard rock and heavy metal since 1969. Starting as the lead singer for pioneering metalheads Black Sabbath, Ozzy subsequently began an epic solo career with the release of Blizzard of Ozz in 1980. The following decade saw him ruling the rock charts and arenas with several successful headlining tours featuring bands like Mötley Crüe, Motörhead, and Metallica. In the ‘90s, Ozzy began regularly embarking on the national tour known as Ozzfest, which helped to further his reputation as the godfather of heavy metal.
