Nice & Smooth are one of hip-hop's most endearing double acts. Consisting of two emcees, Greg Nice's always amped-up and abrasive rap style is complemented by Smooth B's laidback and self-assured flow. 1989's self-titled debut album established their talent for creating entertaining and often upbeat rap tracks, while '91's Ain't A Damn Thing Changed saw them scoring a mellow classic by rhyming over a choice Tracy Chapman sample. A team up with Gang Starr for "DWYCK" is also about as close as it gets to a hip-hop national anthem.
