Imagine Coldplay crossed with U2, and you'll begin to get an idea of what to expect from Negramaro, but even that doesn't tell the whole story. After all, they didn't become one of Italy's biggest rock bands by following in anybody else's footsteps. Fronted by Giuliano Sangiorgi, Negramaro debuted in 2003 but hit their stride in '05 with their blockbuster third album. The band's ability to shift seamlessly from panoramic rock to tender ballads without breaking a sweat has helped earn them fans all over, and their bottomless supply of pure pop hooks hasn't hurt either.
