Myriam Hernández Essentials

Chilean artist Myriam Hernández is known both as a television personality and a singer specializing in romantic numbers. She made her TV debut at age 11 and was featured on the soap opera De cara al mañana, then was named Best New Artist in the Chilean press. Her self-titled 1988 debut included the international hits "El Hombre Que Yo Amo" and "Ay Amor"; the followup was recorded in Los Angeles with hit producer David Foster. She cut short a 1994 U.S. tour due to pregnancy but continued scoring hits, and in 2011 released "Sigue Sin Mi," a duet with Mexican superstar Marco Antonio Solís.
