Uncompromising rapper Murovei made his name in his teens on the battle scene in Minsk. He became one of Belarusian hip-hop’s rising stars—first as part of the Baza 8.5 crew and later in the duo Slozhnie with fellow rapper Damad. He has since delivered on that potential by evolving into a consistently thrilling voice, juxtaposing his smooth delivery with a roller-coaster lyrical flow over skittering trap beats, thumping deep bass and atmospheric samples that recall the genre’s golden era.
