Mikel Erentxun: Influences

Since launching his solo career in the early '90s, ex-Duncan Dhu frontman Mikel Erentxun has made melodic, driving rock music defined by lilting vocals and eloquent lyrics. His predecessors include the dry wit and jangly guitars of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, the melancholy poetry of The Smiths and the hard-rocking glam of Diamond Dogs-era David Bowie.
