Luke Dick: The Songwriters

Luke Dick: The Songwriters

Armed with enough traditional country chops to also know how to break the rules, Luke Dick has old- and new-school songwriting covered. Keeping with convention, he sculpted the heartland vibes of Kip Moore’s “Red White Blue Jean American Dream,” and he nailed the drinking song with Dierks Bentley’s “Beers On Me.” Embracing the modern, he funked up Eric Church with the greasy “Break It Kind of Guy” and turned Kacey Musgraves kaleidoscopic on “Velvet Elvis.”
