Lucy Peach is a singer and self-professed “period preacher” who is advocating for more openness and pride around the subject of menstruation. This is one of four playlists she made for Apple Music—one for each phase of the cycle. Here’s what she has to say about this one: “If you’ve just finished your period, you’re in the Do Phase and heading towards ovulation. Provided you got enough rest during your period, this is likely to be your power week. With rising estrogen and a surge of testosterone, everything happens faster: walking, talking, thinking, and making decisions.
