Los Amigos Invisibles Essentials

Los Amigos Invisibles Essentials

So proud of their native land that their first five albums all had “Venezuela” in the title, the multiple Latin GRAMMYⓇ-winning band Los Amigos Invisibles have been shuffling salsa, samba, acid jazz, boogaloo, disco, garage-house, South American pop covers and all species and languages of kitsch since the mid-'90s. Imagine the wayward grandkids of P-Funk, Jorge Ben Jor and Kid Creole & The Coconuts. Part of what makes them wayward is that their intermittent English titles are obsessed with the kinky side of life. So they're R-rated—but hilariously playful about it.
