A collection of Rowan’s favorite songs. A truly unique and special person, his story cannot be told without the music that shapes and communicates the world through his eyes. Music was a critical part of Rowan’s process for managing his pain and struggle as a transgender boy. So much of who he was, his love, his creativity, and identity are found in these songs. Rowan’s musical taste was influenced by a love of Wes Anderson and Studio Ghibli movies, anime, electronic music and video games, Taylor Swift’s support of the LGTBQ+ communities and anti-bully anthems, as well as Cavetown’s personal ballads about the trans youth experience.
