Alec Valestra, the German hip-hop artist best known as Lil Lano, deals in a barrage of ear-catching hooks and colourful rhymes. Since his slow-rolling 2018 smash “Stone Island”, the rapper has fed a growing fanbase with trap-, dancehall- and pop-tinged singles showcasing his speedy flow alongside chilled, smooth-voiced hooks. But Lil Lano’s 2020 releases reached a new level of introspection.
