Lee Hazlewood Essentials

Producer/performer Lee Hazlewood's maverick vision and eclectic recordings earned him a cult following with fans and artists alike. The former disc jockey began recording tracks in the mid-'50s and scored a slew of chart smashes with guitarist Duane Eddy. A decade later, he teamed with Nancy Sinatra for some of her biggest hits and two highly romanticized LPs. Hazlewood left America for Sweden in the early '70s and retired soon after, but his '60s efforts found a new audience with performers like Nick Cave. He issued a final album in 2006, shortly before his death the following year.
