Kino: Influences

During their short-but-hugely influential career in the '80s, Kino helped pioneer modern Soviet rock, recording several albums and bootlegs of uncompromising yet hopeful New Wave sounds. They were influenced by moody post-punks like Joy Division and Bauhaus as well as reggae legend Bob Marley and fellow Russian rockers Akvarium.
