As a producer with Taiwan's Rock Records since the '80s, singer/songwriter Jonathan Lee is responsible for some of the label's biggest hits. He's best-known for his work on ballads for superstars like Fish Leong and Karen Mok, where his rock- and synth-pop-inspired sounds add an air of mystery and melancholy. But even the most chipper Mandopop tunes acquire a little edge in his hands.
