Montreal's Jeffrey Piton has developed a pop-friendly style of indie folk that draws on the sounds of a number of hushed artists, both big and small. He inherited Coldplay's flair for making intimate sounds that can fill a stadium, but he doesn't sacrifice his Iron & Wine-like ability to deliver a plainspoken and gorgeously fingerpicked acoustic number.
