With a voice cut from the same cloth as legendary soul men like Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass, Jaheim makes the ladies swoon to his music. Coming up under the tutelage of Naughty by Nature's producer Kay Gee, the New Jersey native's debut album, Ghetto Love, introduced him as an R&B singer with a hip-hop sensibility. His follow up the next year, Still Ghetto, continued in the same vein, while '06's Ghetto Classics saw him team up with the rapper Jadakiss to trill through a memorable track about the trials of the street hustle.
