Jah Cure Essentials

Jah Cure Essentials

Launching his career in 1997, soulful reggae singer Jah Cure was sent to prison just two years later. Despite the long sentence hanging over his head, Cure continued writing and recording songs, and his first three albums detailed the painful day-to-day struggles of incarceration. Scoring multiple hits in Jamaica while still locked up, Cure was finally released in 2007, and soon he was bringing his deeply spiritual Rasta message to audiences around the globe. Whether he's flowing smoothly on lovers rock tunes or chanting passionate roots anthems, the power of Jah Cure's voice is unmistakable.
