You can hear their immediate influence in Tangerine Dream's cosmic fantasia, and their mechanical pulses fuel both Giorgio Moroder's Italo-disco and Inner City's Detroit techno, while Afrika Bambaataa fashioned hip-hop on their stiffly funky foundation.
