Furious, raw, and impossibly fast, Black Flag launched a new wave of hardcore bands like Minor Threat, Negative Approach, and The Minutemen. The dirty riffs and heavy grooves of the Flag's later albums had a massive impact on grunge icons like Mudhoney, Nirvana, and Soundgarden. And you can still hear their brutal intensity in modern punk and indie bands like Fucked Up and Rise Against.
