Ingrid Andress Essentials

Colorado-raised Ingrid Andress had a long road to Nashville’s top, but the lessons she learned along the way have resulted in her discography being studded with emotional yet catchy cuts like the Sam Hunt collab “Wishful Drinking.” Andress studied modern pop at the Berklee College of Music, then moved to Nashville after graduating. She wrote songs for Charli XCX and Alicia Keys while honing her solo material, which was inspired by Faith Hill and The Chicks. Her pop savvy and keen knowledge of the human condition add up to gut-punch songs like the heartbroken yet cathartic “Seeing Someone Else.”
