Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur have come a long way since their tender teen rapping days of the ‘90s, when they combined punning, party-centric lyrics with rock and funk samples in a way that suggested Buenos Aires' answer to the Beastie Boys. After a decade-long hiatus, they returned in 2012 with Chances, a far more polished outing featuring slicker lyrics and lush, bedroom-friendly funk and soul alongside hard rock guitars and sax skronk.
