GoodLuck consistently finds new ways to reinvent their act. Since producer Ben Peters, multi-instrumentalist Matthew O’Connell and producer/vocalist Juliet Sharpe formed in 2011, the Cape Town trio has blended pop, jazz and electronic music into dance-floor smashes like the gauzy trance-house of “Thinking About You”. Whether collaborating with DJ Ganyani on the kwaito house of “Waiting for You” or making their own funky house anthem in ”Taking It Easy”, GoodLuck utilises live musicianship and synthesised melodies, resulting in a hybrid made for the clubs and beyond.
