Flo Rida Essentials

Flo Rida paid dues on the Miami scene long before his breakthrough hits, with the rapper calling Trick Daddy and the 2 Live Crew's Fresh Kid Ice mentors during his early years. A collaboration with T-Pain helped fire up interest in his 2008 debut album, Mail on Sunday, while he sided with Ke$ha to add commercial clout to the following year's R.O.O.T.S. project. But it was the rapper's enthusiastic moves into the EDM scene in the early-'10s that propelled him to true crossover success as he released a series of euphoric dance pop anthems.
