Finger Eleven Essentials

Formerly known as Rainbow Butt Monkeys, alt-metal outfit Finger Eleven gained plenty of notoriety at home in Canada with 1997's Tip and 2000's The Greyest of Blue Skies, both gold records that showed off driving, hard-rock riffs topped by big alt-rock hooks. It was the latter that finally got the band noticed in the US, with their eponymous 2003 release going on to yield several mainstream hits thanks to a more accessible sound. They've continued to hone that anthemic formula to considerable domestic success, finally taking home a Juno for 2007's Them vs. You vs. Me.
