Faith No More Essentials

Faith No More Essentials

Formed in San Francisco in 1981, Faith No More combined metal, progressive rock, and funk and turned it into a commercially successful sound in the early ‘90s. Though the band experienced many lineup changes in their early years, once singer Mike Patton joined in 1989, the band began their rise to fame. Their album from that year, The Real Thing, was a massive success. But instead of attempting to recreate that commercially fruitful sound, the band instead used that chart currency to create stranger and more varied records as their career progressed.
