Deftones frontman Chino Moreno is taking all the time he needs to work remotely on his band’s next album, which is currently in the mixing stage. “There’s no rush, obviously, for us to get out and do anything,” Moreno tells Apple Music. “I think our mindset right now is just finishing it completely and making sure that it’s great.” In his At Home With interview, Moreno walks us through his quarantine morning routine while he’s hunkered down at his home in Portland, Oregon: “I get down on some coffee and watch a little bit of news. I live around a lake, so I'll do a run or a bike ride.” Listening to music from the likes of Nils Frahm and Jean-Michel Jarre also does its part to soothe him during these strange times; both are featured on his exclusive Apple Music playlist, as is experimental/post-rock band Tarentel’s “Untitled 2.” “It’s one of my favorite guitar songs ever written,” Moreno says. “Every note that is chosen is gorgeous.”
